Book Club Reading Afternoon

We love bringing book lovers out of their reading corners, what better way to do that than in the stunning Chapungu Sculpture Park, Msasa!

Join us for the first in-person meeting of 2025. Readers will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion of discuss January book of the month The Creation of Half-Broken People by Siphiwe Gloria Ndlovu. Or opt to spend the entire afternoon reading in a tranquil, green, and respectful environment.

Reading Rules:

  1. Bring a book

  2. Read in silence

  3. Be mindful of your surroundings and other participants

  4. Be respectful and considerate in your speech and actions

  5. Dispose of all litter in the bins provided

  6. Event is suitable for ages 15 and above

Things to bring:

  • Picnic blanket

  • Water

  • Small bites

  • A book(s)

  • Sunscreen

  • Hat and/or umbrella

We will have limited drinks and food on sale.

Gate entry to the park:

Adults (Over 12 years) $5 each

To be paid to a book club representative.

Those with vehicles kindly enter using the first gate, just after the T-Junction with Coldrac Road.
